Fargo HDP5000 High-Definition Card Printer

Larger organizations will love the high definition printing and added security features of the Fargo HDP5000. This printer is equipped with either single-sided or dual-sided printing. The HDP5000 is easily upgraded to add additional features such as lamination, magnetic stripe encoding, contactless smart card encoding or proximity card technology.

The HDP5000 prints clear images and text with ease. With Fargo’s high definition printing, images are printed on a special film which is then fused to the card. Along with printing high quality images, this method of printing makes cards more durable by adding a barrier against everyday wear and tear. Cards are more secure and are harder to tamper with making them virtually impossible to forge. Printing on cards with embedded electronics isn’t a problem either. Even on uneven surfaces the HDP5000 delivers consistent results with each use.

Ethernet and USB connectivity are included with the HDP5000. Multiple users can be authorized to operate the printer over a network. Several features enhance the usability of the Fargo ID card printer. Reloading and maintaining the HDP5000 is simple. Cartridge-based ribbons, cards, and lamination make it easy to replace supplies. Cleaning rollers are included with each printer ribbon, making the cleaning process a snap. An LCD panel alerts users to when supplies are running low.
